I’ve spent most of this night hoping for someone or something to look forward to. And as I wondered who that person or thing might be, I had to ask myself…What do I love?
I love the warmth of my mother. Her hugs make everything better.
I love my father’s laugh. Especially because he laughs at the littlest things.
I love my sister’s heart. It is so beautiful, and seems almost fragile, that I want to protect it.
I love my niece’s joy. In her world, people really do poop rainbows and butterflies.
I love my friend Faye. She is honest and filled with so much love for people.
I love Jesus. He is so patient with me.
I love my husband. I’m wondering though what’s taking him so long to find me.
I love this world. There is no place in the universe like it.
I love traveling. Every place has a story, and I love hearing about it.
I love the sound of gentle voices. It never fails to put me at ease.
I love taking walks without music. They bring me to a place of thoughtful solitude.
I love being alert and awake, because it’s when I can remember the things and people that I love.
